Revoke Google access
Google revocation and local deletion are separate controls. Revoke to stop future Gmail access; use MXpeek on the Mac to erase its existing Local Mail Store.

Removing Google access does not delete MXpeek's Local Mail Store. It stops future Gmail API access. Complete local deletion separately on the Mac.
Remove MXpeek's Google access
- Open your Google Account third-party connections.
- Select the Google Account connected to MXpeek if Google asks.
- Find MXpeek under applications with access to your Google Account.
- Review its access, choose to remove access, and confirm.
Google controls the exact labels and screen sequence, which may change over time.
Then delete local data
On the Mac that runs MXpeek, open the application and choose Sign Out & Delete Local Data. MXpeek can still delete its owned local artifacts after authorization is revoked, while offline, or when reauthorization is required.
What happens if you revoke only
MXpeek stops successful synchronization and enters Reauthorization Required. Existing protected content may remain locally readable after a valid Unlock because revocation is not represented as deletion. MXpeek will not silently connect a different Google identity to that Local Mail Store.
Reconnect instead
If revocation was accidental and you want to keep the Local Mail Store, use MXpeek's explicit Reconnect Gmail action. Reconnection must return the same stable Google identity; a different Google identity cannot inherit the existing store.
