MXpeek public information
Data portability
MXpeek creates no unique mail content and is not an archive. Export your authoritative messages from Google, where the complete mailbox remains managed.
Effective 31 August 2026
Export from Google
Use Google Takeout to create an export of Gmail data. Google lets you select products and export email into an archive. Follow Google's download-your-data instructions for current options and formats.
Why MXpeek points to Google
Gmail is authoritative. MXpeek retains at most the newest 100 individual Inbox Messages and may evict them as the Inbox changes. It does not synchronize other labels, preserve attachments, create messages, or keep an archive. An MXpeek export would therefore be incomplete and less portable than Google's own export.
Export does not delete
Creating a Google Takeout archive does not delete data from Google or MXpeek. To erase the Local Mail Store from the Mac, use Sign Out & Delete Local Data. To stop future API access, separately remove MXpeek from Google Account connections.
No upload to MXpeek
MXpeek does not provide an import endpoint, upload portal, server, or support mailbox for Takeout archives. Do not send an export archive to support@mb-soft.dev.
