One Connected Gmail Account, one installation
MXpeek does not merge Connected Gmail Accounts or coordinate data across Macs.
Private Gmail reading on your Mac
MXpeek is a private macOS menu-bar reader for one Connected Gmail Account. It keeps a deliberately bounded view of the newest 100 individual Inbox Messages in an encrypted Local Mail Store on your Mac.
Product boundary
Read-only. MXpeek does not change Gmail read state, labels, or messages.
Local. Searchable Safe Text Bodies stay inside the encrypted Local Mail Store.
No server. Gmail data never goes to MXpeek, its developer, support staff, or this website.
MXpeek asks Google for read-only Gmail access, turns eligible message content into inactive text locally, and stores only what its visible list, detail, search, synchronization, and offline-reading features need.
01
MXpeek does not merge Connected Gmail Accounts or coordinate data across Macs.
02
A successful synchronization removes data for messages outside the authoritative newest-100 Inbox set. There is no archive or tombstone.
03
Safe Text Bodies contain no scripts, remote images, tracking pixels, destination URLs, or other remotely loaded content.
04
Sign Out & Delete Local Data removes MXpeek credentials, its sole encryption key, and its Local Mail Store. Revoking Google access alone does not erase local data.
